Abstract
Most patients present with complaints of nasal obstruction1 in Rhinology clinics. Nasal blockages may result from typical viral infections to fatal tumors. Nasal mass on one side provide a diagnostic challenge due to their diverse aetiologies that go beyond allergic reactions. This piece seeks to determine the cause of the same that isn’t allergic. We are presenting a series of 5 cases on the non-allergic origin of unilateral nasal mass presented in ENT OPD in Bhopal, Peoples College of Medical Science & Research Centre from 2022–2023. Anterior rhinoscopy examination with diagnostic nasal endoscopy were performed for every patient. Computed Tomography scan was performed for selected patients. Each patient had a nasal mass biopsy and Histopathological examination reports were studied thoroughly. Among all patients, nasal obstruction was the most common complaint followed by bleeding in the nose. A comprehensive assessment supports the surgeon’s diagnosis, especially in atypical circumstances, and assists in the treatment of the illness as well as in halting its course and associated consequences.
